Saints of Los Angeles is the ninth studio album by the American heavy metal band Mötley Crüe, released on 24 June 2008 by Mötley Records and Eleven Seven Music.[4] This barcode belongs to its standard 13-track CD, catalogue number ESM/MR 240, in a jewel case.[5] Discogs files the same number on US, Canadian, European and Australian pressings and on later reissues licensed to Better Noise Music, the name Eleven Seven's label group took in 2019.[6][7] In the US the disc was manufactured and distributed by RED Distribution.[8] It was the band's only full-length album with its original line-up after 1997's Generation Swine, and it debuted at No. 4 on the Billboard chart.[4]

Nikki Sixx said the album was loosely based on the band's memoir The Dirt, and members of his band Sixx:A.M. co-wrote and produced most of it; Sixx later said DJ Ashba played almost every guitar part.[4] The title track reached No. 5 on the US mainstream rock chart and was nominated for a Grammy Award for Best Hard Rock Performance.[4]
