Out of the Dark (Into the Light) is the eighth album by the Austrian singer Falco, released three weeks after his death on 6 February 1998.[4] This barcode is the CD on the Electrola label, catalogue number 7243 4 94469 2 2, which MusicBrainz dates 27 February 1998 in Austria and Germany.[1] Its nine tracks include "Out of the Dark", "Egoist" and "Der Kommissar 2000"; the last track holds "Naked (Full Frontal Version)" and, after 1:40 of silence, a hidden track.[5] Discogs lists two pressings with this barcode: one made by EMI Uden in the Netherlands and a Mediamotion picture-disc reissue.[5][6] The album reached No. 1 in Austria and No. 3 in Germany.[4]
