About this product
Pepsi Max 1,5 l is the Danish 1.5-litre PET bottle of Pepsi Max, PepsiCo's sugar-free cola sweetened with aspartame and acesulfame K.[2][1] Pepsi Max is a PepsiCo trademark, but the Danish bottle is made by Royal Unibrew A/S in Faxe, whose back label names it as producer and whose trade shop sells the bottle to shops and restaurants in trays of 96.[1][3] The label is in Danish only and carries the Pant C mark of the Danish deposit system; the bottle holds six 250 ml portions.[1] Between the 2023 and 2025 labels the ingredient list was reworded, with phosphoric and citric acid grouped as acids and sodium citrate named as the acidity regulator, and the declared energy per 100 ml moved from 1,3 kJ to 2 kJ.[1]
The drink is still sold as Pepsi Max in Scandinavia, while the 2023 Pepsi redesign renamed it Pepsi Zero Sugar in many other countries.[2] Danish grocers and kiosks list the bottle at prices excluding the deposit.[4][5]
