Danish brewer and beverage group headquartered at Faxe Allé 1, 4640 Faxe, CVR 41956712.^[1] It was formed in 1989 when Faxe Bryggeri, founded in 1901, merged with Jyske Bryggerier into Denmark's second-largest brewing company, then called Bryggerigruppen.^[2] The group was listed on the stock exchange in 1998, merged with Albani Bryggerierne in 2000 and took the name Royal Unibrew A/S in 2005.^[1] It describes itself as a leading regional multi-beverage company with local brands across the Nordic and Baltic countries and a presence in more than 70 countries.^[3] Danish brands include Faxe Kondi, Faxe, Ceres, Thor, Urban, Albani, Sønderborg, Slotsmøllen, Baldur and Maribo.^[1]
