Different sources or national labels can coexist. Differences alone do not establish a change to the product.
- French and Dutch block, 2014 supported · Compare evidence
The oldest list read here. It names vegetable oil and vegetable fat rather than a named blend, adds modified rice starch, and declares no colour. Country badges (FR) (CH) (BE) and (NL) (BE) are printed beside the blocks
- Multi-market can, consumer lines and marks supported · Compare evidence
Carries the barcode, "Vegan / Végétalien / Veganistisch / Vegano", consumer lines labelled (ES) 900803701 and (BE) 0800 39203, and a NAFDAC registration number whose digits are not legible
- Russian, Belarusian, Ukrainian, Kazakh block supported · selected

- Six-language south-east European label, June 2022 supported · Compare evidence
The panel is headed in Bulgarian, Croatian, Hungarian, Slovene, Romanian and Serbian and states 5-6 servings per 165 g can. Its saturated fat is 2.8 g per 100 g. Sklep Kupiec's Polish data sheet reproduces exactly these figures
- Six-language south-east European label, December 2022 supported · Compare evidence
The same six headings as the June panel but different values: saturated fat 6.6 g and sugars 1.4 g per 100 g. Its ingredient list is the only one read here that names palm oil, which is consistent with the higher saturates. The right edge of the photograph is cut, so the transcription is partial
- Romanian label supported · Compare evidence
Prints the Romanian distributor block. The nutrition figures printed inline match the December 2022 panel, including saturated fat 6.6 g, but the text is too small in the photograph to transcribe in full
- Czech, Polish and Slovak panel supported · Compare evidence
The newest panel photographed, headed in Czech, Polish and Slovak. Its figures are the ones Open Food Facts types for this barcode, and they differ from every other panel read here
- Polish trade data unconfirmed · Compare evidence
Sklep Kupiec's data sheet for this index. Its nutrition figures match the June 2022 panel exactly, not the Czech/Polish/Slovak one, so Polish shelves appear to have carried more than one variant
- Evidence awaiting context review unconfirmed · Compare evidence

About this product
The 165 g can is the standard European format of Pringles Original, the plain salted version of the stacked crisp that Procter & Gamble invented in 1968 and sold in 2012 to the company now called Kellanova, which Mars bought, completing the purchase on 11 December 2025.[6][7] Pringles are extruded from dehydrated potato rather than sliced from whole ones, which is why every declaration opens with potato followed by flours and starches, an emulsifier and, on most labels, annatto as the colour.[2][8] One barcode covers a great many markets: the can prints country badges beside each language block, (FR) (CH) (BE) and (NL) (BE) on the western European panels and (RU) (BY), (UA) and (KZ) on the eastern ones, and the Romanian label names its own distributor.[1][2][5]
More about this product
Because the markets differ, so do the labels. Eight were read here, and they do not agree. The 2014 French block names only vegetable oil and vegetable fat, adds modified rice starch and declares no colour at all; the Russian and Romanian lists name sunflower and corn oil; the Bulgarian list names sunflower, palm and corn.[1][2][9] The nutrition follows the oil: three separate printed panels give 2214 kJ with 3.0 g of saturated fat, 2227 kJ with 2.8 g, and 2227 kJ with 6.6 g, the last belonging to the label whose list includes palm oil.[10][11][12] A Polish retailer's data sheet for this index reproduces the June 2022 figures and names Orbico of Warsaw as the responsible operator.[4] Wikipedia counts Pringles factories at Mechelen in Belgium and Kutno in Poland among five worldwide as of 2015, though no photographed label states where this can was made.[6]

Coverage measures the evidence recorded here. It does not rate the product.
- Identity: 3 / 3 · Name, brand and classification recorded
- Context: 8 / 9 · Evidence groups assigned to a researched label, edition or analysis
- Label photographs: 1 / 8 · Researched contexts with an assigned photograph
- Six-language south-east European label, June 2022: nutrient evidence: 18 / 18 · Recorded nutrient rows linked to a source; not the number of nutrients that ought to exist
- Six-language south-east European label, December 2022: nutrient evidence: 18 / 18 · Recorded nutrient rows linked to a source; not the number of nutrients that ought to exist
- Czech, Polish and Slovak panel: nutrient evidence: 18 / 18 · Recorded nutrient rows linked to a source; not the number of nutrients that ought to exist
- nutrition · disputed: Three different printed panels sit on this one barcode: 2214 kJ / 530 kcal with 3.0 g saturates (Czech/Polish/Slovak, 2026), 2227 kJ / 534 kcal with 2.8 g saturates (six-language, June 2022) and the same 2227 kJ / 534 kcal with 6.6 g saturates and 1.4 g sugars (six-language, December 2022). The saturates track the oil blend, but no source states which pack goes to which market, so none is preferred
- ingredients · unknown: Five ingredient lists differ across the labels: the 2014 French one names vegetable oil, vegetable fat and modified rice starch and no colour; the Russian and Romanian ones name sunflower and corn oil; the Bulgarian one adds palm oil; the Polish one names sunflower oil alone. Only the Polish list is normalised into rows, because no entities exist for vegetable oil, corn oil, maize starch or modified rice starch
- markets · unknown: A NAFDAC registration number is printed on the can, which would indicate a Nigerian registration, but the digits are not legible in the photograph, so no NG market row was added
- identity · unknown: country_of_origin is left empty. Open Food Facts records the manufacturing place as "belgique", a contributor field, and Wikipedia counts Pringles plants at Mechelen in Belgium and Kutno in Poland, but no photographed label states an origin
- evidence · unknown: Open Food Facts' selected photographs are poorly chosen for this barcode: the selected back is a QR code, the selected nutrition photo is 246 by 275 pixels and unreadable, and the largest raw upload is a close-up of the barcode. Legible panels exist only under other language keys
- markets · disputed: Sklep Kupiec's Polish data sheet reproduces the June 2022 six-language panel, while the panel photographed in August 2026 and headed in Czech, Polish and Slovak carries different figures. Both appear to describe Polish-market cans
