The Mash Up Mix 2008 is a two-CD dance compilation mixed by the British bootleg duo The Cut Up Boys and released in the United Kingdom on 3 March 2008 on Ministry of Sound, catalogue number MOSCD159.[1] Its 43 continuous segments cut club records against a cappella vocals — Fatboy Slim's "Praise You" under "Nookie", The Prodigy's "Smack My Bitch Up" against "Turn Me On" — over roughly 155 minutes of house, electro, hip hop and pop, ending on Basshunter's "Now You're Gone".[3] Ministry Of Sound Recordings Ltd holds the 2008 phonographic and publishing copyright, and the discs were glass-mastered by EDC Blackburn Ltd, whose matrix reads "MADE IN THE UK".[3][4] Discogs files it as the 2008 entry in the Mash Up Mix series and knows a second, promotional CDr version under the same catalogue number.[5][6]
