EDC Blackburn was a CD and DVD manufacturing plant at Philips Road, Blackburn, Lancashire BB1 5RZ.[1] Companies House registers it as EDC BLACKBURN LIMITED, company number 04390476, incorporated on 8 March 2002 under the nature of business "reproduction of sound recording" and dissolved on 13 December 2012, its last accounts made up to 31 December 2009.[2] It traded as Disctronics Blackburn Limited until 15 August 2003 and as Deluxe Global Media Services Blackburn Limited until 26 July 2006.[2] Discogs describes it as a division of the American company Entertainment Distribution Company, LLC, operating under the EDC name from July 2006 until the plant closed on 31 December 2009, and identifies its discs by the glass-mastering SID codes IFPI L135 and IFPI L136 — the codes carried by both discs of Ministry of Sound's The Mash Up Mix 2008.[1][3]
