About this product
Feldschlösschen Malz Klassik is a non-alcoholic malt drink (Malztrunk) in a 0.5 litre returnable glass bottle. The back label names Feldschlösschen Brauerei GmbH of Hamminkeln, on the Lower Rhine in Germany, as the company behind it.[2] It is made from water, glucose-fructose syrup, barley malt and hop extract, then carbonated. The label gives 41 kcal per 100 ml.[2] The maker describes a caramel malt note with light hopping, and says the amber drink is made without caramel colouring.[3] German drinks retailers sell it in crates of twenty bottles.[1]
More about this product
The Kloppert family founded the brewery in Hamminkeln in 1852, and the sixth generation now runs it. It calls Malz Klassik its traditional product; the lower-calorie Malz Light followed in the late 1980s.[4] The barcode already had a page on the original Barcodepedia in 2008.[5]
