About

Tapioca syrup is a glucose syrup made from tapioca, the starch extracted from the tubers of the cassava plant, a species native to Brazil.[1] Glucose syrup is most often made from maize in the United States, where it is called corn syrup, but it is also made from potatoes, wheat, barley, rice and cassava.[2] It is declared as organic tapioca syrup, a sweetener beside organic cane sugar, in Sambazon's Original açaí juice.[3]
