Rolled oats are oat groats steamed and pressed flat into flakes, the coarse half of a smooth porridge. Ready Brek Original declares wholegrain rolled oats at 60 % of the box, ahead of the oat flour that gives the cooked porridge its texture.[1] Annex II of Regulation (EU) No 1169/2011 lists oats among the cereals containing gluten, so a label must emphasise them in the ingredient list.[2]
