Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride is the INCI name of a medium-chain triglyceride, a mixed ester of glycerol with caprylic (octanoic, C8) and capric (decanoic, C10) acids, used in cosmetics as an emollient that leaves the skin feeling smooth.[1][2] The EU CosIng inventory lists it under CAS numbers 73398-61-5 and 65381-09-1 and EC numbers 277-452-2 and 265-724-3, with the functions masking, perfuming and skin conditioning.[1] It is made from coconut oil and glycerin and is a clear, odourless, light, non-greasy liquid.[1] Medium-chain triglycerides are triglycerides whose fatty acids have tails of 6 to 12 carbon atoms, and are separated from palm kernel and coconut oil by fractionation or made by interesterification.[2]

Vaseline's UK site prints it second in the ingredient statement of the Lip Therapy Cocoa Lipstick, after octyldodecanol.[3]
