Warner Music Group Germany GmbH is the Hamburg share-holding company of the Warner Music group, entered in the commercial register of the district court of Hamburg under HRB 54151 on 14 April 1992, seated at Alter Wandrahm 14 and carrying a share capital of EUR 50,000.^[1] Its registered object is the acquisition of holdings in companies of all kinds, the management of those holdings and of its own assets, and advice on acquiring holdings; the accounts it files report shareholdings in Warner Music Group Germany Holding GmbH, the German operating holding of the group, and in the Delaware company New Chappell Inc.^[2] Warner Music Group Corp. lists it among the subsidiaries of the registrant in its annual report for the year ended 30 September 2025.^[3]

The company was registered as WARNER MUSIC Germany Group GmbH and took its present name in the entry published on 23 April 2002.^[2][1] Besides holding shares it stood as the personally liable partner of the group's Hamburg music-publishing partnerships. The Hamburg register entered it as general partner of Chappell/Warner Music GmbH & Co. KG (HRA 96229) when that partnership was registered on 20 November 2001, next to the Delaware limited partner Chappell and Intersong Music Group (Germany) Inc.; the partnership was terminated on 17 August 2020.^[4] It left the general partnership of Musikverlag Intersong GmbH & Co. KG in the announcement of 8 November 2011 that dissolved that partnership and passed its assets to its sole remaining partner, Warner/Chappell Music GmbH & Co. KG.^[5] The shareholder lists filed for Warner Music Group Germany Holding GmbH name this company as that company's shareholder, and the Hamburg register holds one shareholder list of its own, taken into the register folder on 3 November 2017.^[1] Niels M. Walboomers has been its managing director since the entry published on 5 May 2026.^[2]
