About Access Industries

Access Industries is the privately held global investment company founded in 1986 by Len Blavatnik and run from New York; this page is the group's principal holding entity, Access Industries Holdings LLC, a Delaware company that files with the Securities and Exchange Commission under CIK 1391297 from 730 Fifth Avenue, care of Access Industries Management, LLC.^[1][2] The group puts its portfolio at more than 35 billion US dollars, held in over 100 countries and territories across strategic equity, global media, real estate, biotechnology and technology ventures, with Warner Music Group, LyondellBasell and DAZN among its investments.^[1] Access Industries, LLC controls a majority of the holding company's voting interests, and Access Industries Management, LLC stands above both, under Mr Blavatnik as its controlling person.^[3]

Footnotes 2 and 4 of the Form 4 that AI Entertainment Holdings LLC and its affiliates filed for Warner Music Group Corp. on 20 April 2026 set the chain out in full: Access Industries Core Holdings LLC is the parent of AI Entertainment Holdings LLC, Access Industries Holdings LLC controls a majority of the outstanding voting interests in Access Industries Core Holdings, Access Industries, LLC controls a majority of the outstanding voting interests in Access Industries Holdings, Access Industries Management, LLC controls both Access Industries, LLC and Access Industries Holdings, and Mr Blavatnik is the controlling person of Access Industries Management and holds a majority of the voting interests in Access Industries, LLC.^[3] Access Industries, LLC (CIK 1508227) and Access Industries Management, LLC (CIK 1508226) file as registrants in their own right, each from 730 Fifth Avenue: they are two further companies of the group, not other names for this one.^[4][5] The group bought Warner Music Group Corp. through AI Entertainment Holdings LLC, then named Airplanes Music LLC, under a merger agreement of 6 May 2011 that closed on 20 July 2011 and took the record company off the New York Stock Exchange; Warner Music listed Class A stock on Nasdaq on 5 June 2020 in an offering made up entirely of secondary shares sold by Access Industries, LLC and related selling stockholders, and Access and its affiliates still hold all of the Class B stock, about 98 per cent of the combined voting power and about 72 per cent of the economic interest, which makes Warner Music a controlled company under Nasdaq's rules.^[6]
