The Rank Group Plc is the Maidenhead company behind the Grosvenor Casinos and Mecca Bingo chains in Great Britain, Grosvenor casinos in Belgium and the Spanish Enracha business, and it is listed on the London Stock Exchange and a constituent of the FTSE 250.^[1] Companies House registers it under number 03140769, incorporated on 22 December 1995 as MEGASTORM PUBLIC LIMITED COMPANY and renamed THE RANK GROUP PLC on 23 July 1996, its registered office at Tor, Saint-Cloud Way, Maidenhead and its nature of business the activities of head offices; its own annual report states the same number and address and describes it as a public limited company incorporated and domiciled in England and Wales.^[2][3] GLEIF records the entity under LEI 213800TXKD6XZWOFTE12 with 03140769 as its register number.^[4]

It reaches this site as the group at the top of the Blackburn CD and DVD plant. Its 2017 annual report lists DGMS Blackburn Holdings Limited and Rank Nemo (DGMS) Limited, both dormant at the Maidenhead office, among the companies of which it owns directly or indirectly 100% of the ordinary share capital and voting rights, which is the ownership row on the DGMS Blackburn Holdings page.^[5] Rank's accounts for 2006 record the exit from that business: Deluxe Media Services sold its UK DVD replication and distribution businesses in June 2006 for net consideration of about £6m and its UK CD replication business in July 2006 for about £3m, and the group left Deluxe Media entirely that year, having sold Deluxe Film in December 2005.^[6][1] Entertainment Distribution Company's 10-Q for the quarter ended 30 June 2006 names The Rank Group Plc as the parent of the Blackburn company it bought.^[7] The group was formed to take over the business interests of the Rank Organisation, whose film distribution Gongman logo it still uses.^[1]

Rank sits in the Guoco group. At 30 June 2026 Rank Assets Limited, a Cayman Islands company and Rank's immediate parent undertaking, held 56.15% of the voting rights; it is a wholly owned subsidiary of Guoco Group Limited, a Bermuda-incorporated company listed on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange, and Rank's report names GuoLine Capital Assets Limited, a Jersey company, as the ultimate parent undertaking of Guoco. A Jersey company, GuoLine Investment Assets Limited, formerly GSL Holdings Limited, holds a further indirect interest of 4.09% through GuoLine (Singapore) Pte Ltd.^[3] Guoco's own report for the year to 30 June 2025 lists Rank Assets Limited among its wholly owned investment holding subsidiaries and The Rank Group Plc as its London-listed subsidiary, and names GuoLine Overseas Limited of Bermuda, holder of 71.88% of Guoco, as its parent and GuoLine Capital Assets Limited as its ultimate holding company.^[8] Companies House lists no person with significant control for the company, which has been exempt since 22 December 2017 because its voting shares are admitted to trading on a UK regulated market.^[9]
