Guoco Group Limited is an investment holding company listed on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange under code 53, incorporated in Bermuda and headquartered in Hong Kong, and part of the Malaysian Hong Leong Group; its subsidiaries and associates work in investment and treasury management, property development and investment, broking, insurance, fund management, and banking and finance.[1] It is the controlling shareholder of The Rank Group Plc, which it holds through its wholly owned Cayman Islands subsidiary Rank Assets Limited, with 56.15% of Rank's voting rights at 30 June 2026.[2] GLEIF records it under LEI 3OIHUMDMI0Z4XVPQ8V78 with Bermuda registration number 15590, created on 25 May 1990.[3]
Its report for the year to 30 June 2025 names GuoLine Overseas Limited, incorporated in Bermuda, as its parent company and GuoLine Capital Assets Limited, incorporated in Jersey, as its ultimate holding company. GuoLine Overseas held 71.88% of Guoco's shares and is wholly owned by GuoLine Capital Assets, which is 49.11% owned by Quek Leng Chan, whom the report treats as a controlling shareholder of GuoLine Capital Assets and of Hong Leong Company (Malaysia) Berhad; Hong Leong Investment Holdings Pte.
