About Sosro
Sosro is the brand the Sosrodjojo family of Slawi, Central Java, built on jasmine tea, and the oval Sosro wordmark signs every pack PT Sinar Sosro sells.[1] The family started marketing loose jasmine tea as Teh Cap Botol in 1940 and, after brewing tea into reused glass bottles for street sampling in Jakarta, launched the bottled drink as Teh Botol Sosro in 1969.[2] Under the Sosro name PT Sinar Sosro now sells Tehbotol Sosro, Fruit Tea Sosro, the S-Tee and Tebs teas, Country Choice juices and Prim-A mineral water.[1]
