RCA Records

About

RCA Records is an American record label owned by Sony Music Entertainment and named after its former parent, the Radio Corporation of America.^[1] The record division was known as RCA Victor until late 1968; its label code is LC 0316.^[2] General Electric sold its remaining interest in RCA Records to Bertelsmann in 1987, the label passed to Sony BMG Music Entertainment after the 2004 merger, and it became fully owned by Sony in 2008.^[1]
