Pedigree is the dog food brand of Mars, Incorporated, run through its Mars Petcare division; Pedigree was the name Mars used for dog food outside the United States until Kal Kan Foods adopted it for its US dog food in 1988.[1] In Canada it is one of the pet food brands of Mars Canada, which makes pet food in Bolton, Ontario,[2] and its range there includes the Vitality+ dry foods for adult dogs.[3]
