About Jolly Rancher
Jolly Rancher is an American brand of hard candy, also used on gummies, jelly beans, lollipops and sour bites.[1] Bill and Dorothy Harmsen founded the Jolly Rancher Company in Golden, Colorado, in 1949; the company passed to Beatrice Foods in 1966, the brand to Leaf, Inc. in 1983, and The Hershey Company bought Leaf's North American confectionery brands, Jolly Rancher among them, in 1996.[1] The 14 oz bag of Original Flavors hard candy carries blue raspberry, green apple, cherry, grape and watermelon.[2]
