Deutsche Grammophon is the classical record label of Deutsche Grammophon GmbH in Berlin, part of Universal Music Group.[1] Discogs describes it as the company's main classical label since 1949, with label code LC 0173 and the branding "Deutsche Grammophon Gesellschaft" used until 1970.[2] Its yellow cartouche banner first appeared on covers in 1957.[1]
