Eugen Jochum's first complete cycle of Beethoven's nine symphonies, recorded for Deutsche Grammophon with the Berliner Philharmoniker and the Symphonieorchester des Bayerischen Rundfunks between 1952 and 1961.[1] Discogs groups the 1959 seven-LP mono box and the 2002 Original Masters five-CD box as editions of one work.[2] Wikipedia counts it as the first of Jochum's three Beethoven cycles.[3]
