About Cloetta
Cloetta is the confectionery brand of the Swedish group Cloetta AB, and the oval Cloetta logo signs the front of the group's own-name chocolate packs; the group also lists it among the brands it owns, beside Läkerol, Jenkki, Malaco, Kexchoklad, Polly and Red Band.[1] The name goes back to the brothers Cloëtta, who founded a chocolate factory in Copenhagen in 1862 and opened a Swedish subsidiary in Malmö in 1873 and a Norwegian one in Oslo in 1896.[1] Chocolate bars carrying the mark include Sportlunch, a milk-chocolate-covered wafer sold across the Nordic countries.[2]
