Read from the 3096x4128 upload: a blue flip-top pack with a crown device, RICHMOND in sans-serif capitals over a smaller variant line that is not legible, and the white general warning. The pack is hand-held and soft-focused, so the side panels, the yield figures and the cigarette count cannot be read.

Richmond King Size is a British value-brand cigarette, catalogued here under the EAN-8 barcode 50433919. Richmond is owned and manufactured by Imperial Tobacco, which reintroduced the name to the United Kingdom in 1999 as a value brand against Mayfair, Sovereign and Park Road; its King Size and Superkings variants became the fifth and fourth best-selling cigarettes in the country.[1] The pack recorded here is the bright blue livery, restyled in 2006 to a sans-serif wordmark,[1] and it carries the white general warning "Smoking seriously harms you and others around you" that United Kingdom regulations prescribed for tobacco packs.[2][3] Standardised packaging removed brand colours from UK packs on 20 May 2016,[1] and the 20-cigarette Richmond Original pack a UK wholesaler lists today carries a different barcode,[4] so this article is recorded as discontinued.
The old Barcodepedia catalogued the barcode in 2008 as "Richmond Kingsize"; its "Produced in United Kingdom by Unknown producer" line was generated from the number, not read from a pack.[5] Imperial Tobacco Limited is registered in England as company 01860181 at 121 Winterstoke Road, Bristol,[6] and GLEIF records Imperial Brands PLC as its parent.[7] The Open Products Facts record that holds the photograph is incomplete and tagged Norway, which the pack itself contradicts.[8]
