Ingredients
No ingredient declaration required according to the recorded evidence. A natural mineral water carries a sales denomination instead of an ingredient list: Regulation (EU) No 1169/2011 Article 19(1)(e) for a single-ingredient food, and Directive 2009/54/EC on natural mineral waters

About this product
Bad Liebenwerda Medium is the lightly carbonated grade of the natural mineral water bottled by Mineralquellen Bad Liebenwerda GmbH at Am Brunnenpark 1-4 in Bad Liebenwerda, Brandenburg.[2] This barcode is the one-litre returnable PET bottle: the packaging panel reads "1,0 L Mehrweg-Flasche" beside the German Mehrweg mark and a "Regional & klimaneutral" heart, and a Berlin wholesaler sells it as a crate of twelve with a €3.30 deposit.[3][4] The maker lists Mineralwasser Medium in five containers, 0,75 l returnable glass, 1,0 l individual glass, 1,0 l returnable PET, 0,5 l and 1,5 l one-way PET, so the container rather than the size distinguishes this article from its siblings.[5]
More about this product
The front carries the sales denomination "Natürliches Mineralwasser mit Kohlensäure versetzt, aus der Bad Liebenwerda Mineralquelle", which places the spring, and so the origin, in Germany; a natural mineral water needs no ingredient list.[6] It carries no nutrition declaration either, because Annex V of Regulation (EU) No 1169/2011 exempts waters whose only added ingredient is carbon dioxide.[7] What the label prints instead is an extract of the SGS Institut Fresenius analysis of 15 November 2017, in milligrams per litre, and the figures are identical on photographs of 2020 and 2024 and on the maker's page today.[8][9][5] The water is low in sodium at 6,8 mg/l, and the label carries the German badge for suitability in preparing infant food.[8]
The springs were taken over by the RhönSprudel group in 1990, shortly after reunification, and a new bottling plant was built on the edge of the town in 1991; with around 230 staff the company is the largest employer in Bad Liebenwerda.[10][11] Open Food Facts tags the record for both France and Germany, but every photographed label surface, including the uploads filed under French, is entirely German, and no French listing for this barcode could be found, so only Germany is recorded as a market.[12] Globus prices the bottle from €0.65, though it carries the barcode only inside its listing URL.[1]

A Berlin drinks wholesaler sells it as a crate of twelve at 8,95 € plus 3,30 € deposit, that is 0,75 € per litre, under article number M4174, but prints no barcode
A listing is evidence that this barcode is sold there, on that date; a price is what that listing showed, not a recommended price.

Coverage measures the evidence recorded here. It does not rate the product.
- Identity: 3 / 3 · Name, brand and classification recorded
- Context: 1 / 1 · Evidence groups assigned to a researched label, edition or analysis
- Label photographs: 1 / 1 · Researched contexts with an assigned photograph
- German one-litre returnable PET bottle label: nutrient evidence: 9 / 9 · Recorded nutrient rows linked to a source; not the number of nutrients that ought to exist
- nutrition · disputed: The Berlin wholesaler publishes a different analysis for the same article: calcium 15,8, sodium 6,9, potassium 1,6, magnesium 3,0, chloride 5,0 and sulphate 55,8 mg/l. It prints neither a barcode nor an analysis date, so the label's 2017 Fresenius extract is used
- markets · unknown: Neither German listing prints the barcode as text: Globus carries it only inside the listing URL and the wholesaler not at all, so both market rows are derived rather than sourced
- identity · unknown: Sibling barcode 4013143010368 is another Bad Liebenwerda Medium of 1 l carrying a Mehrweg label. The maker lists five containers for Medium, so the container distinguishes the articles, but no source ties that barcode to a specific one
- markets · unknown: Open Food Facts tags the record for France as well as Germany and files two photographs under French, but every photographed surface is German and no French listing for this barcode was found
- relationships · stale: company/mineralquellen-bad-liebenwerda states no gs1_prefixes; a review pass cannot amend an existing company stub, so prefix 4013143 is recorded only on the gs1_prefix_owner row here
- evidence · stale: Evidence was observed over a year ago; check for newer labels. Historical evidence remains valid.
