Bière ambrée is an amber beer of 4.8 % vol. from Brasserie Uberach, sold in 50 cl glass bottles.[2][1] Éric Trossat, a former nuclear engineer, founded the craft brewery in 1999 in Uberach, in the Val de Moder in Alsace; it was among the first in the region to brew top-fermented, unfiltered beer, and its amber and white beers were its first flagships.[3][4] The label shows the double-gabled façade of the former shoe factory where brewing began, a nod the brewery kept after moving to a new building in the same village in 2013.[4] Auchan lists the article under this barcode,[1] which already carried the title "uberach bière ambrée" on Barcodepedia in 2008.[5]
