The Clairefontaine Direction pad is an A4 office writing pad of 100 micro-perforated sheets of 70 g/m² Vélin Surfin paper with 5×5 mm squared ruling, stapled at the head under a semi-wrapping laminated card cover with a rigid board backing.[1] Clairefontaine sells it as reference 17354C, in the same product family as an A5 version, and states that it is made in France.[1] A Luxembourg office-supply wholesaler lists the A4 pad under this barcode.[2] The brand belongs to Clairefontaine-Rhodia, the stationery company of the Exacompta Clairefontaine group, which runs the Clairefontaine website.[3][4] Open Food Facts records this barcode only as "Agenda", with no brand or photos.[5]
More about this product
Clairefontaine goes back to a paper mill founded in 1858 at Étival-Clairefontaine in the Vosges. Its brand became widely known after the 1951 launch of its varnished-cover notebook.[4]
