About

Clairefontaine is a French stationery brand known for notebooks, pads and paper. Its origins lie in the Papeteries de Clairefontaine mill, founded in 1858 at Étival-Clairefontaine, and the brand grew after its 1951 varnished-cover notebook.[1] It is operated by Clairefontaine-Rhodia, which publishes the official brand website.[2]
