About this product
Beckett Basketball Collector is the basketball trading-card price-guide magazine of Beckett, and 0 09128 48252 1 is the newsstand UPC that retail listings record for its mid-2000s issues, including the March 2004 issue with LeBron James and Carmelo Anthony on the cover and issue #174.[1] Go-UPC files the code under magazines, registered in the United States.[2] The magazine was published by Beckett Publications, founded in 1984 by statistician James Beckett, which was sold to Apprise Media in January 2005 and renamed Beckett Media.[3] The title continues as Beckett Basketball, whose print issues Beckett Media still sells, numbered past 400 by 2026.[4]
In 2008 Beckett moved its monthly football, baseball, hockey and basketball price guides to seasonal editions, keeping Beckett Sports Card Monthly as its only monthly sports title.[3]
Where it's sold
- UPC 009128482521 - Beckett Sport Publications Basketball #17 information[1] United States used Listed under this UPC by Things From Another World ("Beckett Sport Publications Basketball #174", USD 2.99 on 2017-10-23) and on eBay US as a used copy of the March 2004 issue (USD 9.99 on 2020-10-21); both are single back issues, so no price is given for the title.
A listing is evidence that this barcode is sold there, on that date; a price is what that listing showed, not a recommended price. Store links may be affiliate links (how this works).

- Identity: 3 / 3 · Name, brand and classification recorded

- Label photographs: 0 / 2 · Researched contexts with an assigned photograph

- identity · disputed: The two listings name different issues (#174 and the March 2004 issue), which fits a title-level newsstand UPC with the issue carried in a separate add-on code; no cover photo confirms which issues print it.
- relationships · unknown: The 0009128 block holds unrelated articles from several companies (a Philips CD player, NavPress and Tyndale books, other magazines), so it looks like a shared periodical-distribution block; no GS1 prefix owner is written.
- images · unknown: No licensed cover photograph of an issue carrying this barcode.
- schema · schema_gap: The schema has no periodical section (title, issue number, cover date, add-on code); issue facts are kept in Specifications and edition observations.
- markets · unknown: Whether current Beckett Basketball issues still print this UPC.
- evidence · stale: Evidence was observed over a year ago; check for newer labels. Historical evidence remains valid.
