About Beckett Media
Beckett Media covers the sports card, comic grading, collectibles and sports memorabilia sectors. Statistician James Beckett founded it in 1984 as Beckett Publications. It was sold to Apprise Media in January 2005 and renamed Beckett Media, then acquired by Eli Global of Durham, North Carolina, in 2008.[1] Its titles included Beckett Baseball Card Monthly and the basketball, football and hockey price guides, which moved from monthly to seasonal editions in 2008.[1]
