Ceramide NP is a phytosphingosine-based ceramide used in cosmetics; it is the INCI name that replaced the retired name Ceramide 3.[1] The 2018 label of the 16 oz jar of CeraVe Moisturizing Cream lists it as Ceramide 3.[2]
