Butterfat, or milkfat, is the fatty portion of milk; milk and cream are often sold by the amount of butterfat they contain.[1] It is a milk-derived allergen and is printed in bold on the Ritter Sport White Hazelnuts label, where it follows rice in the ingredient list.[2]
