Brewed coffee is coffee extracted into water, used as a liquid base in ready-to-drink coffee beverages. It appears on United States labels as a compound ingredient with its own sub-list, for example "Brewed Starbucks Coffee (Water, Coffee)" on bottled Starbucks Frappuccino.[1]
