About

The Moon & Antarctica is the third studio album by American rock band Modest Mouse, released on 13 June 2000 by Epic Records as the band's first major-label album.[1] Produced by Brian Deck and recorded mainly at Clava Studios in Chicago between July and November 1999, it peaked at number 120 on the US Billboard 200 and was certified gold by the RIAA in March 2009.[1] Epic reissued it on CD on 9 March 2004 with remastered audio, new artwork and four BBC Radio 1 session tracks; a 2010 tenth-anniversary vinyl and CD reissue reverted to the original artwork and track listing, and Music on Vinyl reissued it in Europe in 2015.[1]
