Lotus Biscoff is the caramelised speculoos biscuit of Lotus Bakeries. The Biscoff name, from "biscuit" and "coffee", was launched in 1986 and introduced country by country, after the biscuits had been served individually wrapped with coffee in Belgian cafés since 1956.^[1]^[2] The German Biscoff website lists formats that include a 200 g pack, 25 single biscuits and snack packs of 14 × 2, all with the same recipe and values per 100 g.^[3]
