About

Heinz Tomato Ketchup is the ketchup made under the Heinz brand of Kraft Heinz, first marketed as "catsup" in 1876 and sold worldwide in glass and plastic bottles, squeeze bottles and single-serve packets.[1] Heinz makes it in factories around the world, the one in the Netherlands the largest in Europe, from one basic recipe varied for regional regulations; in January 2009 a tomato replaced the gherkin on the label.[1]
