Riccardo Muti's recordings of the four Brahms symphonies with The Philadelphia Orchestra for Philips, made in Philadelphia between October 1988 and September 1989.[1] Discogs groups seven editions under one master, from the 1991 Italian three-disc set Le Quattro Sinfonie to the 2002 Complete Symphonies in the Trio 3 CDs series, issued in Europe, the United States and Brazil.[2] A 1992 European box gathered the four single CDs with the Alto Rhapsody.[3]
