Kostka Mięsna is the beef bouillon cube that Nestlé sells in Poland under the WINIARY brand: twelve cubes in a 120 g carton whose legally regulated denomination is *bulion pieczeniowy*, roasting stock.[^off-ingredients][^dodomku] Two cubes make a litre of bouillon and one seasons a litre of soup, which the pack counts as 60 portions of 200 ml.[^off-raw6] Salt and palm oil lead the list, ahead of flavour enhancers, sugar, potato starch, 3,2 % dried onion and garlic, sulphite ammonia caramel and 0,4 % dried beef.[^winiary] The trademark belongs to Société des Produits Nestlé S.A.,[^dodomku] while the brand's Polish operator is Nestlé Polska S.A. of ul. Domaniewska 32, Warsaw,[^winiary-privacy] whose Kalisz branch is the old Winiary works where the group's Polish bouillon cubes are made.[^wikiwiniary][^krs]
That factory started in October 1941 in the village of Winiary near Kalisz, was nationalised in 1946 under the Winiary name, and was sold to Nestlé between 1995 and 2000; in 2001 the company became a branch of Nestlé Polska S.A. and kept the brand.[^wikiwiniary] The label has moved on since it was photographed: the 2020 pack lists fully hydrogenated palm fat and lecithins and declares 0,1 g protein, the 2023 pack prints 0,2 g protein and 0,1 g saturated fat in the soup-base column,[^off-nutrition][^off-raw6] and the retailer data sheets now drop the hydrogenated fat for rosemary extract,[^foodplus] which the maker's own page still does not.[^winiary] All four readings are kept as separate observations. The barcode has been looked for here since the 2006-2013 Barcodepedia carried it as "kostka misna 120g", under a machine-generated line naming a company that never made it.[^archive2008]
