That resolves the lookup's identity caution: the old title was the same product misspelled "Break". Ready Brek Original is the smooth instant porridge Weetabix Limited mills from wholegrain oats at Burton Latimer in Northamptonshire; this 500 g box was sold in the United Kingdom and its back panel reads "Made in England by Weetabix Limited".[^offback] The front calls it "super smooth porridge" made only with oats, vitamins and minerals,[^offfront] and the legal denomination above the panels is "Original Oat Cereal Fortified with Vitamins, Iron & Calcium".[^offback] The list is wholegrain rolled oats at 60 % and wholegrain oat flour at 38 %, with calcium, iron and seven added vitamins; a 30 g serving carries 400.8 mg of calcium, half an adult's recommended intake.[^offback] The brand was created by J. Lyons and Co., launched in 1957 and bought by Weetabix in June 1990.[^wiki-rb]
The old Barcodepedia recorded this barcode as a 500 g box in September 2007, under the misspelling "Ready Break Original".[^old2007] The panel photographed for Open Food Facts in 2016 still declares sodium with Guideline Daily Amounts, the scheme used before the nutrition declaration of Regulation (EU) No 1169/2011 became mandatory on 13 December 2016,[^fic] and the maker's current page prints slightly different figures for the same recipe, so the two labels are kept as separate observations.[^maker] Weetabix Limited, registered at Weetabix Mills since 13 August 1932,[^chco] has been held through Westminster Acquisition Limited since 2018[^ch] and belongs to Post Holdings, Inc., which completed its purchase on 3 July 2017.[^post]
