Both printed bases are separate panels: per 100 g as sold and per 50 ml portion as prepared, with the four `<0.5 g` cells kept as less_than qualifiers and their literal wording. Bisto Gravy Granules are the instant gravy Premier Foods sells under the Bisto name: a red plastic tub of savoury granules that thicken into gravy when boiling water is stirred in.[^label] Bisto began in 1908 as a meat-flavoured gravy powder invented by Messrs McRoberts and Patterson; granules followed in 1979 and by 2005 held more than 70 per cent of the British gravy market.[^wp-bisto] The brand belongs to Premier Foods, the St Albans ambient-food group that also owns Mr Kipling, Oxo and Sharwood's.[^wp-premier] This tub carries the older "aah!
