Bootism: The Bootsauce Collection is a 1996 compilation by Bootsauce, a Montreal rock band founded in 1989 whose sound combined soul, funk and metal.[^wiki-bootsauce] This barcode is the Canadian club-edition CD on the Vertigo label, catalogue number P2 32290, made in Canada by BMG Direct Ltd. under licence from PolyGram Group Canada Inc. and pressed by Cinram; its disc carries the same matrix number as the retail CD.[^discogs-club-alt] BMG Direct sold such editions through its Canadian mail-order record club.[^discogs-bmgd] The sixteen tracks draw on the albums The Brown Album and Bull, with a re-recorded "Moanie" and a reworked "Payment Time".[^discogs-club-alt]
