## About <!--about-->
Candy sugar is sugar grown into large crystals, sold in white and darker grades and long used in Belgian brewing. Its Dutch and French names, kandijsuiker and sucre de candi, are the forms that appear on Belgian beer labels. Brouwerij Lindemans lists it fourth in the ingredients of its 25 cl Gueuze, after water, malt and wheat and before hops and yeast.[^pack]
