(新力哥倫比亞音樂股份有限公司) is Sony's Taiwanese record company, which started operating in March 1993.[^discogs-smetw] Its English name became Sony Music Entertainment Taiwan Ltd. in 2002; in early 2005 it merged with BMG Music Taiwan Inc. to form Sony BMG Music Entertainment (Taiwan) Ltd., and the name reverted to Sony Music Entertainment Taiwan Ltd. in 2008–2009.[^discogs-smetw]
