I corroborated it with a second GLEIF reporting exception — the ultimate-parent one, ULTIMATE_ACCOUNTING_CONSOLIDATION_PARENT / NO_KNOWN_PERSON — added as the new References row **gleif-ultimate-parent** alongside the direct-parent row already there. **absence_prose:** removed the whole closing paragraph, both the flagged sentence about the corporate number and the ISIN and an unflagged sentence of the same kind explaining why the 2021 rename is modelled as a legal alias rather than a renamed_from relation; no research narration is left on the page. **Freshness and rebuild:** I re-fetched the GLEIF LEI record, both parent reporting exceptions, the SEC filer record and the 20-F today and moved their accessed dates to 2026-09-21 (wiki-sonygroup and wikidata-sony were not re-read and keep 2026-09-18); no new References rows beyond gleif-ultimate-parent, and the sony-20f title now names the parts of the filing actually cited. Facts added from that re-reading: NYSE listing September 1970 (the page had the June 1961 ADR issue and the December 1958 TSE listing but not the listing itself), each ADS represents one share of common stock, 6,149,810,645 shares outstanding including 242,144,891 treasury shares at 31 March 2026, the SNEJF over-the-counter ticker and the 1996-09-25 start of the SONY CORP former name, and the partial spin-off of Sony Financial Group Inc. (board resolution 14 May 2025, effective 1 October 2025, SFGI excluded from consolidation). That last one made the Identity summary stale — it called the company the parent of Sony's financial businesses — so financial services is out of the summary. **Still open:** the Japanese corporate number (法人番号) and the ISIN of the common stock. Added register_ids LEI:529900R5WX9N2OI2N910 and JP-CR:0104-01-067252 from the GLEIF LEI record, which also gives the Japanese legal name ソニーグループ株式会社 (added as a legal alias, locale ja, from 2021), the legal/headquarters address and an entity creation date of 7 May 1946, so founded goes from 1946 to 1946-05-07. Corrected the listing facts: the summary said New York Stock Exchange only; it now says listed in Tokyo since December 1958 and on the NYSE as SONY, and About cites the Form 20-F for the TSE listing in December 1958, the ADRs issued in June 1961 and the ADSs trading on the NYSE (one ADS per common share). Strengthened the no-owner statement with GLEIF's direct-parent reporting exception (category DIRECT_ACCOUNTING_CONSOLIDATION_PARENT, reason NO_KNOWN_PERSON) and dropped the now-false closing sentence 'No Japanese corporate number or LEI is recorded here'. Added an Establishments row for the registered office at 1-7-1 Konan, Minato-ku (kind office, source ^gleif).
