Sources establish Parle Agro is held by natural persons, not a corporate parent: Wikipedia records the original 1929 Parle business was split into three separate, non-competing family companies, with Parle Agro led and owned by Prakash Chauhan and his daughters, and a 2009 Bombay High Court ruling that it is a distinct company with no relationship to Parle Products; GLEIF carries both direct- and ultimate-parent reporting exceptions of NON_CONSOLIDATING. Set Identity ownership_status: no_corporate_parent, ownership_source: ^wpparle, and stated the sourced negative fact in About; no owned_by/parent_org and no owner stub, since the owners are individuals. Also added registered_address (from GLEIF legal address) and wikidata Q7138871, and refreshed the gleif and gleifparent References accessed dates to 2026-09-23 after re-fetching both records. Rewrote About into a lede plus history/context, removing the earlier prefix research-failure narration; kept the gs1_prefixes_inferred basis (the 8902579 OFF block, 53 packs read 2026-09-17). Dropped the now-uncited References rows gdsnpartners, gs1indiagtin and smartconsumer, which only supported that removed narration. No new References rows added.
