Kaufland Stiftung & Co. KG is the Neckarsulm retail company behind the Kaufland hypermarket chain, which runs more than 1,500 stores in Germany and seven other European countries, among them Croatia.[^wiki-kaufland] Like the discounter Lidl it belongs to the Schwarz group, whose voting rights are bundled in the Schwarz Unternehmenstreuhand KG.[^wiki-kaufland][^wiki-schwarz] It is entered at the Amtsgericht Stuttgart under HRA 102851 and registered at Rötelstr. 35, Neckarsulm.[^northdata-kaufland][^gleif-kaufland] The GLEIF records of Kaufland Hrvatska k.d., the Croatian Kaufland company, name it as that company's direct and ultimate consolidating parent.[^gleif-kh]
