Hershey in 1894 as the Hershey Chocolate Company and still seated at Hershey, Pennsylvania.[^wiki-hershey] It files with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission as HERSHEY CO under CIK 0000047111, with employer identification number 23-0691590, incorporation in Delaware and a business address at 19 East Chocolate Avenue, Hershey, PA 17033; the SEC record also carries its former name Hershey Foods Corporation, used until April 2005.[^sec-hsy] No company owns it: its shares trade on the New York Stock Exchange under HSY, and the Hershey Trust Company holds a minority stake but a majority of the voting power.[^wiki-hershey]
