About now says the 2007 rename to Entertainment Distribution Company, Inc. (effective 10 May 2007, by a section 253 short-form merger) happened, and that EDCI Holdings, Inc. is a separate corporation formed in 2008 that became the parent in the reorganisation consummated on 25 August 2008, both with their own pages here. Rebuilt the rest from the filings: the 2005 closing report (8-K body, not just its press release) shows EDC USA was a wholly-owned subsidiary of Entertainment Distribution Company, LLC from 31 May 2005 and an indirect subsidiary of Glenayre, and that it signed the ten-year US CD, HDFD and distribution agreements with UMG Recordings, so owned_by and parent_org now carry from-dates, a former parent_org row (to 25 August 2008) and a new distributor_for row to company/universal-music-group (US, ended 31 December 2008). Establishments gained sizes and tenure from the 2007 annual report (Grover 356,000 sq ft owned and ISO 9001:2000/14001 registered; Fishers 648,000; Reno 100,000; Wilkes-Barre 60,000) and the note that the Reno and Wilkes-Barre leases ended on the Sony DADC closing; About adds the 419 staff at 31 December 2008 and the phase-out to April 2009. Two source datings are named and rejected: the June 2010 10-Q twice puts the Sony sale in December 2009, which its own three-year indemnity running to 1 January 2012 contradicts, and Wikipedia's November 2008. New References rows: sec-ex21 (10-K exhibit 21.1), sec-10k (EDCI's 2009 Form 10-K) and sec-10q-2010 (EDCI's Q2 2010 Form 10-Q). Corrected the Sony DADC sale from Wikipedia's "November 2008" to the 10-K's announced 31 October 2008 and closed 31 December 2008 for $26.0 million, keeping Wikipedia's date named as the disagreement, and added that the North Carolina plant (called Grover in the 2005 release, Kings Mountain by 2009) stayed with this company, idle and held for sale, with up to $7.3 million of liquidating proceeds still expected in August 2010.
