The Dieter Fuchs Stiftung is a charitable foundation under German civil law, seated at Dieter-Fuchs-Straße 10 in Dissen am Teutoburger Wald and entered in the foundation directory of the Amt für regionale Landesentwicklung Weser-Ems in Oldenburg under number 09 (036); Josef Diekmann is its board member.[^dfs-imp] The spice maker Dieter Fuchs (1928–2019) set it up in 2002 to support research and teaching, education, art and culture in the Osnabrück region and above all in his home town, and to keep the company's seat in Dissen for the long run; a five-member board of trustees oversees it, chaired by the former German Federal President Christian Wulff.[^dfs-web][^wiki-de] Recent grants have gone to reading sponsorships in Dissen schools and to a teaching high-ropes course at Barkhausen.[^dfs-web]
