Cadbury plc was the holding company at the top of the Cadbury group, incorporated in England on 7 February 2008 and put in place when Cadbury Schweppes split its confectionery business from its American drinks business.[^ch-06497379][^wikicadbury] Dr Pepper Snapple Group, Inc., today Keurig Dr Pepper, completed its separation from Cadbury plc on 7 May 2008 and listed on the New York Stock Exchange; Wikipedia dates the demerger itself 2 May 2008, the day Cadbury Schweppes plc became Cadbury plc.[^kdp8k2008][^wikicadbury] Kraft Foods bought the company in 2010, and the Cadbury business has belonged to Mondelez International, the group Kraft's snack business was spun off into, ever since.[^wikicadbury]
