The Boston Beer Company, Inc. is an American maker of beer, hard cider, hard seltzer, flavoured malt beverages and spirits-based ready-to-drink cocktails, founded in 1984 and based at One Design Center Place, Boston, Massachusetts.[^sam10k][^secsub] Its brands are Samuel Adams, begun in 1984, Twisted Tea (2001), Angry Orchard (2011), Truly Hard Seltzer (2016), Dogfish Head and Sun Cruiser (2024).[^sam10k] Under a licensing agreement it entered with PepsiCo, Inc. in 2021, it has since 2022 developed, marketed and sold the alcoholic Hard Mountain Dew, which accounted for about 2% of its net revenue in 2024 and in 2025.[^sam10k]
